Prevent Vacation Constipation by Eating Well While Traveling

If you've traveled south of the border, friends have surely warned you of Montezuma's Revenge (Traveler's Diarrhea). After traveling with two kids and one doctor visit to get things, ahem, moving, I can say the only thing worse is Vacation Constipation. Vacation is a time when daily routines are altered; the body must adjust to its new sleep, eating, exercise and fluid routines. Help your family stay regular while traveling by visiting the grocery store once you've arrived at your destination. Buy cut fruits and veggies, whole grain crackers and yogurt to stash in your in-room fridge.
