Swimming & Got Water In the Ear? Here's How to Get It Out

Though not life-threatening, one of the most frustrating hallmarks of summer swimming is when you get water in the ear. It seems like no matter what you do, you can’t get it out. There are several over-the-counter ear drops that will help to dry the water. Or a home remedy can be made using 1 tsp white vinegar, 2 tsp rubbing alcohol and 2 tsp filtered water. Place a few drops of solution in each ear after swimming and as the alcohol evaporates, it will quickly dry the ear. The vinegar helps prevent ear infections and the water dilutes it so the solution isn’t too strong.
