Prevent Ice Cream Cone Leaks with an Added Treat at Bottom

With the hot summer approaching, it's very likely you'll be buying more frozen treats. If your kids are like mine, they love ice cream! What I don't love. however, is the sticky drips from their melting treat through the cone. I came up with a way to prevent the melted ice cream from becoming a big mess - on them and on the floor. Before scooping the ice cream into the sugar cone, I stuff a miniature marshmallow into the bottom of the cone. This acts as a plug of sorts and keeps the drips inside the cone. Mom's happy, and the kids get an added treat at the end!
