Keep Kids Occupied for a Few Minutes with Ice, Bowls, Spoons
Need a few minutes of quiet time? Sit your child down on the kitchen floor with a couple of small plastic bowls and a couple of spoons and several ice cubes. For some reason, small children are fascinated with ice. I found this out when one of our renters came over with her two little ones to visit, but the kids wouldn’t be still long enough to even talk, much less visit. I had the idea with the ice and it worked like a charm. Easy clean up, too - only a little water on the floor. Just make sure the floor is clean because the first place the ice goes is into the mouth!
