Why I Threw Away My Kids' Abercrombie & Fitch Clothes
Mike Jeffries, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, is my nightmare as a parent. He’s quoted saying: “We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don’t belong [in our clothes], and they can’t belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely.” I work hard raising my kids to respect others and their differences. Mr. Jeffries, you can keep your overpriced clothes and condescending attitude. I believe in individuality and diversity! I’m throwing away my boys' Abercrombie clothes. It's my way of supporting every great kid, no matter what they look like!
