Help Kids Keep Track of Their Travel "Treasures"
We travel frequently, whether to visit family, for work or for play. Even when headed to destinations that I wouldn't necessarily call a tourist hot spot, my kids are fascinated. So much so, that wherever we go, they collect brochures, postcards, ticket stubs and more. For an easy way to help them keep track of their precious mementos (and to keep them from junking up the backseat of the family truckster), I give each kid a gallon-size, seal-top storage bag. At the beginning of the trip, they decorate and personalize the bags with stickers and then use them to hold their treasures!
