Re-purpose Leftover Vegetables for Health & Savings
Health professionals and moms alike know that eating more vegetables can only benefit you and your children. In our household, our kids often leave some vegetable leftovers, such as broccoli stems and asparagus tops. Save these precious (and sometimes pricey) food items and re-purpose them! You can add them into soups, stir-fry meals or even breakfast omelets. What normally would have gone to waste now becomes an easy way to add more vegetables into your diet - and your children's.
